CHANGE IS PAINFUL

Change is painful, even when it is ‘good change’ (by our personal ego-centric take on life) …. Perhaps a major component of this pain is FEAR.  So much time is wasted (by me … and maybe by you) in painful fear.  Even when I want the change, actually taking the physical leap and the leap of faith, FEAR often pops up BIG TIME and HUGE.
It is often only when the pain of not making the change outweighs the fear of making the change that we flip over into the action needed to create the new space in our lives.
This does not mean that every change we consider needs to actually be seriously entertained.  To discern and ponder and then choose with consideration to the effect this choice has on self, family, friends and all of life (we are all connected) is a component of big life changes if wisdom and intuition predominate.  However, in considering all aspects the mitigating factor is not whether self and others LIKE (oh my, I am thinking about ‘liking’ a Facebook comment) but what is the outcome of the change being considered.  A simplistic example might be:  I choose to start an exercise regime.  Short term this is painful (muscles screaming) but looking to the future the long term benefits of increased endurance and perhaps longer more active life.
PAIN IS UNAVOIDABLE.  After a lifetime of seeking to avoid pain this one over recent years is more completely coming to understand and feel in the core:  not only is pain unavoidable it is not always a bad thing.  Pain sends up the flag notifying us that something needs attention.
So, on a more mundane level, I think I will break out my yoga mat and do some stretches now as I am thinking about changing my sedentary life to one of conscious movement to limber my mind, heart and body.  (Maybe not so mundane after all).

YOUR WISHES FOR 2013

Thinking about making wishes for the New Year as 2013 fast approaches.

I used to have a bumper sticker for my car.... My KARMA ran over your DOGMA.... i loved that sticker.

DOGMA is man's concept of the laws of Creator / Creation and KARMA is Creator/ Creation's actual laws governing how the universe really works.

The Christian People would quote 'an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth'.

So ... thinking about this and thinking/feeling about what karma you want to incur in the New Year ... what do you want to come back to you and maybe bite you in the behind or gently kiss your cheek?  Every choice has repercussions!

For your pleasure, here is a sweet little visual on how karma works…

THE ANGELS AND GUARDIANS DRAW CLOSE

December 24, 2012

The angels and guardians come close to the earth … come close to our hearts. The light is seeking a way into our hearts and our lives. This is a time to be at-one. This is a time to be at-peace. Why do we get caught up in our differences even at this time when the light pours over us in waves of joy. We sometimes close our hearts to fully being with and in that joy … instead we point fingers at one another saying …. ‘You are doing it wrong … you should be doing it the way I have been taught’.

I do not think The Christed-One cares what title we use to describe ourselves … Christian … Jewish … Hindu … Buddhist … Druid … Lakota … or any other title. This power of Love seeks to guide and guard our lives and go past words directly to our hearts.

Written indelibly in our hearts is the truth of the path we can take to Creator and Creation. Now is the time to let go of intellectual approaches to the LOVE which guides. Breath in love, breath out love: this is the simplest and most complete prayer … this breathing in and out … in and out … of Love. No judgment. No qualifiers. No intellectual. In a church, a synagogue, a temple, the natural world, a skyscraper in the middle of a multimillion dollar business meeting breathing … allowing a moment or many of just being in Love.

I am speaking to myself (and maybe you) when I write these things … time to let go of mental constructs of ‘the ONLY correct way to approach GOD’. The formulas may be an excellent start point; however, they can only take us so far. There comes a point to step off the known grid. Melt into The Love which has no language.

For now I offer a prayer and greeting for a MERRY CHRIST-MASS. Feel free to insert any other words from any pathway you resonate with that will open your heart to LOVE.

Finally, I offer this little tree of light which has been a good symbol for so many pathways. Visual images aid us in moving past the intellectual directly to the experiential. May this little tree help you along the way.

TREE OF LIGHT

December 23, 2012

May each one of us become TREES OF LIGHT and conduits of .......................... L V E....................... May our inner lives match and exceed the beauty of the outer a thousand fold. The angels / guardians draw close to the earth raising us up to the light ... Thank you so much Creator / Creation for the Gift of The Prince of Peace.... may the perfect love of the Christed One be born into our hearts this Holy Season....

Allowing LOVE

THE THREE GIFTS

The gifts of the 3 Wise Men from the East.....
Gold .. frankincense .. myrrh
Ala Edgar cayce.

Cayce elaborated on the symbolism of each of the three gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh: “…they represent in the metaphysical sense the three phases of man’s experience in materiality; gold, the material; frankincense, the ether or ethereal; myrrh, the healing force as brought with same; or body, mind, soul.” (5749-7) Perhaps this healing force can be kept in mind when one is applying or using this herb for relief and strength.
